The Wildman Adventure Resort kayak tour takes you to the serene High Falls flowage, where adventure and beauty come together. The High Falls flowage is surrounded by almost 10,000 acres of wild lands that are open to the public and are yours to explore. The vast wilderness creates a feeling of being in a remote Canadian lake, but you will never be far from home. The cool tannin stained water, granite outcroppings and islands, big fish, and forested shores are like being north of the border. The wild shores of the 1,600 acre High Falls Flowage are part of the Peshtigo River, the same river that passes by the Wildman Adventure Resort.
During your 2-3 hour adventure, be prepared for spectacular wildlife sightings including encounters with bald eagles, great blue heron, loon, a variety of ducks, sand hill cranes, turkey vultures, whitetail deer, black bear, coyotes, fox, wolves, and river otters just to name a few. Your trip will take you on a paddling voyage where you will be exploring the open water, the shorelines, and even wild islands.
